Welcome to Salan's Café
The little bell above the door gives a bright ring.
An orange-haired girl peeks out from behind the counter, holding a tray of pancakes. She straightens the ribbon on her apron and smiles.
“Welcome to Salan’s Café! Just one today? Wonderful—the window seat is free.”
She sets a cup on the table. A tiny gold star slips out from under the saucer, and she nudges it back with a spoon.
“Please ignore that. The warming spell gets a little excited when we have guests.”
Today’s menu
“Now, what are you in the mood for?” She opens a small menu. Between its pages are bookmarks, scribbled notes, and one suspiciously pancake-shaped stain.
“Let’s see… Salan left a few stories here, about things that happened lately. Oh, and this page is about an anime that kept them up far too late.” She turns another page. “These notes took a little longer to write. Apparently, something finally worked after a lot of tinkering, so they wanted to keep a record.”
She slides the menu toward you. “Start wherever you like. If you find something interesting, you can tell me about it while I make the tea.”
“Some pages are still being written. If you find an empty shelf, it just means Salan hasn’t decided what to put there yet. You’re welcome to browse.”
No quest required
There is no daily check-in reward here, and no boss waiting behind the next link. You can read a whole article, look at a few pictures, or simply listen to a song.
“And if you’re tired, you don’t have to say anything.” She moves the sugar bowl a little closer. “I’ll leave the tea here.”
The music plays softly. Sunlight catches the rim of your cup. For a moment, nothing needs an immediate reply.
Before you go
“The archive is where we keep our past stories. My Space has a few things about Salan, and Friends will take you to some other lovely places.”
She pauses, then adds a slightly uneven pancake to your plate.
“A little welcome gift. The shape is… limited edition.”
So, take whichever seat you like. This little café is still growing, one page and one visitor at a time.
“Enjoy your stay, dear guest. Next time the bell rings for you, I’ll say: welcome back.”
